Life is precious and too often cut short

Tomorrow, my partner is attending a funeral service of a friend and co-worker and on Thursday, I am attending a memorial service for a friend and fellow interpreter's husband.  Both of these people were young and passed away suddenly.  Today, on our morning walk, I took a little more time to take in the beauty of the world.  To stop and smell the flowers.

This week pause a little longer as you say goodbye to your partner when you head out the door to work.  To kiss your kidlets just a little bit longer.  Call your parents and tell them you appreciate them.  Repair a relationship. Count your blessings.
