Okay, so it's becoming common practice around here -- a little bit of Thursday for Friday.
We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ~Thornton Wilder
A trip to the hot springs last weekend and we see the first snow up in the mountains this season.
This perfect picnic spot.
Why not?
This kind of fun!!!
This boy and his love of veggies ... inspiring this rant.
Avi and Mama's spontaneous play while walking along Pearl Street.
Avi and his cousins ... oh the fun they have together!! this gathering was because my Aunt Jan was visiting from Michigan. What a fun reunion.
These two sweeties.... enjoying a special moment together.
Waking up to this dusting of snow this morning!!
Snow?!?! Wow! We have highs in the 80s today...ugh. It's supposed to get cooler this weekend though...finally. Have a great weekend!

DeleteSnow!!! I always enjoy the first dusting.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely moments you have captured. Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks Kim. Yes, we enjoyed it early before it melted away. More snow this weekend here. Enjoy your weekend as well
DeleteZ was out in her pj's, snow boots and heavy coat just before dawn this morning, too! Oh, and that diner in Empire = best banana malts ever!
ReplyDeleteNothing like pj's and snowboots, eh? I choose a chocolate shake!!
DeleteOh we love hot springs too! I can't believe you have snow already. I'll admit, I'm a little jealous. I am missing the east coast fall weather this year and since here on Kauai we're currently experiencing a complete ceasing of tradewinds (hot, humid, muggy) I'm a little cranky about the lack of cool Fall weather! Ahhh well, I guess I will live vicariously through your beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteKim, I spent one fall in India during the monsoons. I missed it soooo much!!! I know what it's like to miss out. Enjoy the water for us landlocked!
Deletewow! you already have snow??
ReplyDeletei love all the pictures :) - but the one with the bookreading, I really love it the most :) - I have a friend from the US and she sometimes gives books from the US to my children. Even if they don't understand English they admire the colours and pictures and you know what? we have the same book here!!!!!! thousands of kilometers between us and we look to the same book, funny :)
love. maria
Maria,
DeleteMy partner got this book on a trip that took her to Alaska. It's not a book that I had ever seen before. I love that your kiddos enjoy it too!
best!
I love these 9 moments. I look forward to them every week. Even if I don't comment until a week later! So beautiful. You have a beautiful life! :)
