We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.  ~Thornton Wilder

This week's treasures include:

:: man-purse, blueberries, what more does one need?
:: sometimes I lament that I'm always behind the camera... but I'm glad when I've captured a shot like this.

 :: giggles shared among a flower and a bird.
:: stumbling upon this share library while walking to the park. (I love people).

 :: watching him work/play.
 :: the special bond he has with our beloved neighbor, Sahand.
:: goodies from Sahand's bounty.
:: a hike with friends. They liked the views.
:: coming to some important realizations

  1. Oh my some lovely treasures this week. Love the pic of Avi and the railroad - amazing!! And that share library, what a great idea. And Avi working intently with the wood, and paying such close attention in the garden with Sahand..all of it is so great!!!

    Enjoy your day.

  2. a sweet collection of treasures. And you are brave letting him have at it with that kid shopping cart! I'll avoid that one as long as possible :)

    1. S is all about the shopping cart! She follows me around and we put the things she loves the most in there like bananas and avocados.

    2. Maybe it's because the store I shop in is t.i.n.y. but all I hear coming from the kids and moms of those little carts are tears and meltdowns. I have been properly scared away. We'll try it one day...but I like her helping from right in my cart... for now :)

  3. This is such a beautiful collection of things. I really love that share library, what a brilliant thing! And the picture of a flower and a bird adorable! Love love love.

  4. love the miniature shopping buggy! when i lived in quebec they had them at several markets but i never see them down here. disappointing as i have a son that would love to "help" ;-)

  5. What great photos! I especially love the one with your neigbour. Children an old people often have such a great harmony you never could describe with words... hugs. maria
